For well known brand from the financial sector we are looking for Performance Tester.

The client incorporates the most disruptive payment businesses, creating one of the world's largest private fintech.

This role will be part of the Merchant Solutions team, responsible for building a global, open merchant payment platform to create opportunities for merchants and acquirers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• We are looking for a Performance Tester to support in different tasks:
• Design and plan performance and scalability tests for back-end applications based on REST APIs or web services
• Automate test cases, maintain, and enhance the test automation framework
• Execute tests, analyze outcomes, and communicate results
• Provide software architects and developers with data required to improve application performance and scalability

Requirements:

Several years of experience in testing of back- end Java applications based on REST API or web services

• Excellent analytical skills and quick understanding of complex systems and processes
• Practical experience with test automation and related tools, such as JMeter, Gatling, or similar
• Good knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, such as Java, Python, Scala
• Experience with Linux
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Experience in performance and scalability testing, especially on virtualized environments, would be a plus
• Experience in JVM performance tuning and optimization would be a plus
• Experience with data analysis and statistical tools, libraries, packages would be a plus
